Thank you for considering The Plaster Hive for your celebration! We offer creative experiences for birthdays, girls' nights, family gatherings, corporate events, community events, and other special occasions.
Reservations
Submitting an inquiry does not reserve an event date. Your event is considered reserved only after: (1) The Plaster Hive confirms availability; (2) you agree to the applicable event terms; and (3) any required deposit has been received.
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit may be required to reserve an event date. The deposit amount and payment schedule will be disclosed before booking. The deposit will be applied toward the total event price unless otherwise stated.
Final Headcount
A final participant count must be provided by the deadline communicated for your event. Once products and supplies have been prepared or purchased based on the confirmed headcount, the quantity generally cannot be reduced for purposes of calculating the final balance. Additional participants may be accommodated when supplies and availability permit; additional charges may apply.
Final Payment
Any remaining event balance must be paid by the deadline stated on your invoice or event agreement.
Customer Cancellations
Deposits designated as non-refundable at the time of booking generally will not be refunded when an event is canceled by the customer. Amounts paid toward products or supplies specifically purchased or prepared for the event may also be non-refundable. Any applicable cancellation terms will be communicated as part of your booking.
Rescheduling
Requests to reschedule will be considered based on availability. When possible, an existing deposit may be transferred to a new available date. Additional expenses resulting from the change may apply and will be communicated before the event is rescheduled.
Cancellation by The Plaster Hive
If The Plaster Hive must cancel an event and we cannot provide an acceptable rescheduled date or agreed alternative, amounts paid for services or products we are unable to provide will be refunded as appropriate.
Event Location
Unless otherwise included in your selected package, the customer or event host is responsible for providing an appropriate event location, including adequate space, tables, seating, lighting, and access.
Paint & Personal Property
Painting can be messy. We strongly recommend protecting tables, floors, furniture, clothing, and other personal property. The Plaster Hive is not responsible for ordinary paint stains or property damage resulting from a participant's handling or misuse of paint or craft materials, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
Children & Supervision
A responsible adult must provide appropriate supervision for children participating in activities. The Plaster Hive does not provide childcare or assume responsibility for supervising children unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Travel
Events outside our standard service area may be subject to an additional delivery or travel charge. Any applicable charge will be disclosed before booking.
